Jeremy Lawrence has crafted a hypnotic and sultry sound that seduces the listener. No doubt, a testament to his post-graduate experiences and rhythmic instincts.
It’s in his debut EP, Featuring, that Jeremy Lawrence showcases the fullness of his musical perspective. The structural style of the record is reminiscent of Sade and Maxwell producer Mike Pela, which is in accordance with Lawrence’s personal listening favorites: Fleet Foxes, James Blake, and D’Angelo. It’s this intersection between spatial and soul where Lawrence thrives.
